Lloyd practiced law in the High Court of Kerala, India for seven years before migrating to New Zealand in 2002. He has a B'com degree from Kerala University and is a Bachelor of Laws graduate from Mahathma Gandhi University. Before getting admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, he worked in the High Court of New Zealand at Auckland for one and half years. After his admission to the Bar, he joined Ryken and Associates in September 2005. Lloyd practices in all areas of immigration and refugee law. He speaks English, Malayalam and Tamil.
